Summer 2008 Classes
Updated August 3, 2008
TO REGISTER: Click on Register Online, or see end of this section for mail or phone registration.
Herb Walk Classes: These are the new non-mosquito versions of the Herb Walks. No
prerequisites. Everyone is welcome. Registration required.
Given the challenging mosquito situation this year, we will be offering an
indoor/screened tent version of the Midsummer & Late Summer Herb Walks. Kathleen
and her apprentices will provide leaves and flowers of wild, local, and/or
medicinal plants that are in season now, and just like the herb walk, provide
plant ID tips, medicinal uses, lore, and scientific info on them.
In addition, you are invited to bring a plant leaf/flower from your own yard or
other local place and we will identify what you bring, if possible.
Late Summer Herb Walk Class: Thursday, August 14,
6:30-7:45 pm. $19.95
